Just want to know what exactly templates are.
Are they sites arrange so that other sites can link to each other in a desired way?
Am I correct in my basic understanding?
I have attached a file, is this what I think they.

The image you have posted as a blueprint for a Web2 link wheel.

I think you are getting your terminology mixed up. Do you want to know how Sick Submitter templates work OR do you want to know how the Sick Submitter link wheel option works?

In which case if its the latter its not like that. All the Sick link wheel option does it randomly place one of your last created links in the profile (sig) area of forum profiles.

If its how Sick Submitter templates work you can hover over the highlighted words in this post to learn more about each. (A packet and a template).

I see a bigger picture of what you're asking now.

To be honest though you're asking me an SEO question now to which there is no one answer. Like I've always said I cannot make that comment without knowing about the site/page thats going to be used as the money site. Usually it depends on the age, authority and competition of that site/page to me.

But generally yes for all my sites I do follow that kind of strategy. Building tier 2 links and then building links to those tier 2 links. But I do also build those links directly to my money site as well.

The Sick Submitter templates will allow you to create a packet from a list of sites that run on those platforms. You will then have to open those individual packets and build links on them using whatever fields are available and required.

However they will not automatically build the link wheel like in that thumbnail no. Sick is robust because it does the basics for you. Although it does have the Scheduler you will have to build one set of links first then grab the links and build links to them etc. It is possible to do in Sick but you will need to have a strategy laid out first on paper or PC with what you intend to build.

I think there are some Sick Submitter link building strategies like that on the forum here for building them in Sick, will have to dig them out for you or if not put one on the tute site.
