Nesting articles is not a solution.
What about if you have 25+ articles?
Sick to pick a random article file from an article folder that's all.

This is a "hack" solution that I use for achieveing what you ask...
Open template,
Add this after logging in code...
Then replace the field that takes the article with the following code...Code:$myart=Runwait("cmd /c type C:\folder\of\articles\articlefile{1|2|3|4|5|6|etc}.txt")
Add salt and pepper for desired tasteCode:Input("yourfield","{$myart|$myart}")![]()

That's a cool hack 1b but again that's not really a long term solution and would require you to add that to your packet or template.
What if people just want to open an article packet and have Sick choose either one article, or a folder of random articles (saved in format that Sick saves articles in).
It needs to be an option in Sick not template/packet orientated.
If you add that to a packet it would require that you do actually have a folder (in that path) with a list of articles in it (saved in format that Sick saves articles in).
What if people only have 1 article to submit? The packet/template wouldn't work correctly as it wouldn't be pulling the info from Article Creator fields.
Let's get the Sick 4 bugs squashed and released and maybe Sick can do something like that after.![]()

I've been using it for long term.
If you want to do what you asked to do that is how to do it.
If you want to add that option for people using your templates and make it a streamlined solution, you need to "add salt and pepper to taste". There are ways to make it an optional function in a template, and have it revert back to using the article tab if needed.
I think thanks would have been a better answer, and then perhaps I would have told you how to make it a nice neat Optional function in your templates![]()
