Sick sumbmitter will not connect to servers

Hi,

up to now i had no problem,if i click the sick submitter short cut on my desktop it opened.

Today i keep getting this error

Unable to connect to the sick marketing servers, check if your firewal is not blocking port 9090 or 4467 submitter will close now.

Apart from that not having any success with the submitter, i have used this type of software before but having real problems with this one both on the registration and submission process.

Most of the sites with packets included in sick and the free packets seem to have changed so the templates are not working the right way, im not a coder thats why i bought the software.

At the moment i am very disappointed with the software but i will persevere until my first month is up and at least try and get some help from admin.

Have you confirmed the username and password your entering matches the one on your welcome email (no extra white spaces at the end)?
When you open IE can you navigate to SickMarketing.com?
Have you verified you do not have a Firewall or Antivirus blocking Submitters access to the internet?
Were you using proxies the last time you used Submitter?

Hi thanks for the prompt reply

YES-password and username match 100%
YES- i am here now so IE does navigate to the forum
YES- there is no firewall or antivirus blocking sicksbmitters access to the internet
NO- I did not use proxies for a period as the free ones where not working, i did buy a proxie with user name and password (dont think they work with sicksubmitter, correct me if im wrong).

I suspect its something to do with not using proxies but not sure .

What now and what to do about the templates because i can tell you for sure they are not working, most of the sites have changed the registration and even if i get to register they change the submission process. Im finding this very frustrating.

I tried that still nothing, the program window with the checks, opens then closes and gives the error message i quoted in the first post

Try disabling your firewall. Your machine or network cant connect, the servers are up and running for everyone else.

OK i reset the router when nobody using the connection and this morning first time i click on the short cut its working ok.

Now to the other problem , all the templates seem to be out of date either on the registration process or sumbmission process.

First, no reason to be rude, there are a lot of posts here,and yours have all been answered in a timely manner.

We try to answer every question, but do miss one from time to time. Packets and templates are updated, you posting that all templates are out of date is like going to the doctor and saying it hurts. Be more specific, what template, what process doesnt work? No other users are voicing the same concerns that we have seen, so maybe it is your scraped list.
